Just after 4PM on Monday, 3 February, police responded to a report at the Spott’s Beach, along Shamrock Road, where it was reported that a gold KIA Sportage, registration number 181-756 was stolen from the parking lot between 2PM and 4PM.
Shortly before 4:20PM on Sunday, 2 February, officers responded to a report of an assault at an address on Schooner Lane in west Bay.
A man, age 44 of Bodden Town, has been arrested and charged with Burglary in relation to an incident on 23 December, 2019, where a business on North Church Street, George Town, was broken into and several items stolen.
Shortly after 1:30AM on Sunday, 2 February, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at an address on Abbotsford Drive in Bodden Town.
The Cayman Islands Fire Service (CIFS) was in attendance at a vehicle fire in Sandpoint Road Rum Point.
Just before 2:30PM on Thursday, 30 January, police responded to a report of a sinkhole that appeared on Watercourse Road, between Eureka Drive and Hamlet Lane in West Bay.
The RCIPS is reminding the public that traffic instructions given by a police officer supersede traffic signals and signs. Officers are currently assisting to direct traffic in several locations and members of the public are advised to heed all instructions given.
28th January marked the 10-year-anniversary of the Murder of 32-year-old Courtney Spence, who was shot and killed in the Progressive Distributors parking lot, located on Sparky Drive, George Town, where he was working at the time.
