A man, age 43 of West Bay, has been arrested and formally charged with Burglary, Theft, and Handling Stolen Goods.
A joint investigation into the fire incident, which occurred at the Her Majesty’s Prison on Tuesday, 21 November, is currently being conducted by the Cayman Islands Fire Service and the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS).
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the aggravated burglary which took place on Austin Conolly Drive on Saturday, 18 November.
Shortly after 8:30PM on Sunday, 19 November, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in West Bay, at the intersection of West Bay Road and West Church Street.
