Shortly after midnight on Sunday 13 August, police and other emergency services responded to a report of an altercation in a parking lot outside a bar on Shedden Road, George Town.

confirms that at approximately 6:08am on Thursday, August 10th, a vessel with ten (10) male migrants
disembarked in Gun Bay, East End in Grand Cayman.
On Saturday 5 August, police arrested a 47 year-old-man from George Town, who is believed to be connected to the recent spate of thefts from vehicles that have occurred in the central George Town area.

Shortly after 11:30AM on Saturday, 29 July, officers received a report of a robbery which occurred at about 10:30PM the previous night, Friday, 28 July.
