Operation Quaker continues to target drunk driving and speeding island wide. Last weekend the focus was on Sunday brunch events and saw 54 speeding tickets issued and officers arresting 9 persons for driving under the influence
At about 3:45AM today, 26 June, officers responded to a report of an aggravated burglary involving a firearm at an address on Adonis Drive in West Bay.
On Wednesday night, 23 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a barber shop on Eastern Avenue, near the School Road intersection, which took place shortly before 8:30PM
Shortly after 10:30PM yesterday, 16 June, officers responded to a report of a serious assault at an address on Patrick's Avenue, George Town.
Just after 5AM on Thursday, 17 June, police carried out a search at a residence in the West Bay District. During the search officers found a quantity of ganja and ganja plants. No arrests were made in relation to the drugs, however inquiries are ongoing.

Just after 12PM today 10 June, the RCIPS Firearm Response Unit, had cause to stop a vehicle that was seen travelling along Sound Way in George Town. The vehicle attempted to evade being stopped and as a result, a less-lethal tactic with use of special munitions was deployed to disable the vehicle.
Shortly after 2:00AM on Saturday, 5 June, officers responded to a report of a firearm incident in the parking lot of Trafalgar Place, on West Bay Road.
Shortly after 1:30AM on Monday, 7 June, officers were despatched to a report of a firearms incident outside a bar on Seymour Drive, George Town.
