Just after 6AM on Thursday, , 9 June, police responded to Her Majesty's Cayman Islands Prison Service (HMCIPS), Northward, following a report made by the Director of Prisons concerning a member of staff.
Just before 9:40PM on Monday night, 31 May, officers from the RCIPS, Cayman Islands Coast Guard, Cayman Islands Fire Service, the RCIPS Air Operations Unit and EMS responded to a report of a collision involving a fishing vessel and a sailboat in the Governor's Harbour area off Magellan Quay....
On Friday 28 May, the RCIPS launched Operation Quaker in response to a trend of road fatalities and other serious collisions which have occurred in recent times.
Wednesday the 26th of May 2021 saw the culmination of six weeks of intensive training designed to introduce existing members of the RCIPS Joint Marine Unit (RCIPS JMU) as well as four young Coast Guard Recruits to the standards of leadership, discipline and operating procedures....
The RCIPS is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 41-year-old Conway Clive Whittaker who was last known to be living in North Side. Mr. Whittaker is wanted by the police for several violent crimes and is known to be aggressive.
Beginning this weekend, 28-30 May, the RCIPS will be conducting a targeted road safety and enforcement campaign. Operation Quakers, will focus on curbing reckless and dangerous driving behaviours over the weekends when the worst incidents have been occurring.
At about 7:45AM on Saturday, 22 May, officers responded to a report of an indecent exposure on the beach in the vicinity of Sundowner Close, off West Bay Road.
Kayla James, age 17 of Bodden Town, who absconded from home on 11 May, has returned home safely and appears to be in good health.
Just after 8:45PM, on Monday 24 May, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a serious assault that took place in the Mount Pleasant area of West Bay.
