Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 17 May.

There are 1,752 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Fourteen persons are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 related causes and of these, six are vaccinated.

The 7-day rolling average for 17 May is 114.

The Sister Islands reported 17 new cases, leaving total cases since the beginning of the pandemic at 900. Active cases in the Sister Islands are currently at 91.
