As of 10 a.m. Saturday, 18 September, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 1,246 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since last reported on Friday, 17 September 2021.
There were two positive test results, one in a traveller and one in a child who is one of the final people to be screened at George Town Primary School.
There have been 105,158 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. A total of 54,500 persons (77% of an estimated population of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 50,658 persons (71%) have completed the two-dose course.
