25 new Positive COVID 19 cases reported for Sister Islands

Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 2 May.

Positive cases reported to Public Health during this period are currently as follows:

There are 1,130 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Nine persons are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 related causes, four of whom are unvaccinated.

The 7-day rolling average for 2 May is 87.

The Sister Islands reported 25 new cases, leaving total cases since the beginning of the pandemic at 749.
