On Saturday 5 August, police arrested a 47 year-old-man from George Town, who is believed to be connected to the recent spate of thefts from vehicles that have occurred in the central George Town area.
The man has been charged with one offence and attended court on Monday 7 August where he was bailed while further charges are being investigated.
Police continue to investigate incidents of theft from vehicles in Grand Cayman, and advise the public to be vigilant by always locking their vehicles and keeping valuables out of sight.
