The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reported that there were 9 positive cases from a batch of 805 COVID-19 tests that were carried out since Friday’s press conference.
Six are assumed to be locally acquired cases picked up through screening and contact tracing has started. One is someone who has returned from travelling and two are contacts of known positive cases.
There is in addition one person who presented for treatment at casualty with symptoms.
