Annual St. Ignatius golf scramble teeing off soon!

The eleventh annual St. Ignatius Golf Scramble set to tee off on Friday, March 20th at the North Sound Golf Club with a 12:30 pm shotgun start. The four-person scramble can accommodate up to 88 players in 22 teams and is open to the general public.

The event is nearly sold out, so any other golfers wishing to play in the scramble should submit a registration form and CI$190 per player (CI$760 per team) as soon as possible. The entry fee includes green fee, cart rental, chances to win great prizes, as well as a buffet meal and awards presentations after the golf. There will also be competitions for closest to the pin, longest drive, putting champion, and best dressed team, which are all included in the registration fee! The big prize of the day is USD$50,000 if a player scores a hole-in-one at a selected par three!

Registration/sponsorship forms are available on the home page of www.st-ignatius.com, at the golf pro shop, the church office, or via e-mail. Please submit all forms/payments by hand to the church office or by post to St. Ignatius Golf Scramble, PO Box 2638, Grand Cayman, KY1-1102. Forms/payments can also be handed in at the North Sound Golf Club. The final deadline to register is Monday, March 16th, but it is likely that all available spaces will fill up before then, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.

St. Ignatius would like to thank this year’s major sponsors: Reditum Capital, Kirk Freeport, and OceanMed. Additional sponsors and prize donations are still welcome! All sponsorships and prizes should be received by Friday, March 13th in order to be included in advertising, programme, and signs.

For further information, please phone 949-6797 between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Mondays to Fridays or e-mail st.ignatius.golf.scramble@gmail.com. Proceeds from this event will benefit the new sports hall building fund and the scholarship fund.
