Appleby Cayman acted as Cayman Islands counsel to the lead arrangers in connection with credit facilities to support Caesars Entertainment’s bid to acquire William Hill PLC. The Appleby team was led by Jacob MacAdam, Partner and supported by Alexandra Simpson, Counsel and Ann-Alecia Moore, Associate.
The acquisition was completed on 22 April 2021 and brought together Caesars, as one of the largest gaming-entertainment companies in the U.S., and William Hill as one of the world's leading betting and gambling companies.
