Appleton Estate Signature Nights - the highly celebrated and groundbreaking LIVE event - is coming to Grand Cayman this Saturday (19th October) for an evening entitled, Reggae and Rum.
The event will be hosted at the Wharf, Grand Cayman and features Jamaican songstress Ikaya, who burst onto the scene in 2001, after performing on Capleton’s hit track, ‘Fire’.
Since then, Ikaya’s music career, has been growing exponentially, opening for many acts both in her home Jamaica and internationally with shows that have been described as, “….bringing to the world and her proclaimed fans a true sense of great quality music.”
Indeed, All good work should be rewarded, and as such Ikaya took away the Stone Love Award for “Female Artiste of the Year” in 2010. This Artist is one that certainly promises to deliver nothing but the best for her first appearance in the Cayman Islands.
With the ground work laid for an amazing event, organizers say patrons can expect nothing but the best in LIVE Music.
Ikaya will be joined on the evening by Cayman’s own homegrown, “Local Motion 345,” featuring Songbird Notch. The Show starts at 8pm and goes until 12am.
Appleton Estate Signature Nights is free of charge.
Known among the most well produced and highest profile shows in the Caribbean, the event has traditionally been held in Jamaica and has featured the likes of Sanchez, Tarrus Riley, Romain Virgo and a host of others.
“It’s all happening at the Wharf with Appleton Estate Signature Nights, which is known for showcasing regional Reggae artists, along with homegrown talent. We are delighted to be a part of the lineup,” noted Local Motion 345 Singer, ‘Notch’.

Appleton will also be giving away mementos on the occasion as part of brand promotion.
