The one year anniversary of the launch of Berkshire Hathaway’s Real Estate office in the Cayman Islands was held on March 1st, 2024.
Owner/brokers of the new company Anthony Lawson and Paula McCartney said the honour of being associated with a brand that is synonymous with quality, as well as impeccable customer service and satisfaction never gets old but time certainly does fly.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already but time does go quickly when you’re having fun and working hard,” noted Mr. Lawson, who was recognised as one of Berkshire Hathaway’s Global Network’s top 5% agents with the President’s Circle Award during the past year.
“I’m beyond grateful to make it into this group of incredibly talented professionals. It’s such a privilege to support my clients as they navigate the real estate market, and this award reminds me of the successes we’ve shared this past year,” he remarked.
Mr. Lawson said when he and Ms. McCartney started on their new journey last March with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, there was no clue where they’d be in a year, but it looked promising and exciting - and that expectation keeps delivering.
“I’d also like to congratulate Paula on receiving the prestigious Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award for being in the top 5% of global agents. With her track record, it is well deserved,” he added.
Ms. Paula McCartney said she was elated to be have been a part of such an exciting journey and brand and that she was honored to have been recognised as one of the companies’s top agents.
“Last March, we celebrated one of our most significant milestones yet - evolving our precious diamond into the Cayman affiliate for one of the world’s top real estate agencies. And here we are, one year later, still beaming in the delight of being a dynamic team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Cayman Islands,’ she explained.
She added that the new partnership has allowed the team to elevate their client service and ultimately increase their client success with access to a premier brand’s global network, resources, markets, training and insights.
Mr Lawson expounded on the general sentiment of both he and Ms. McCartney on the heels of their one year anniversary and receiving the recognition of the company whose brand they represent here in the Cayman Islands.
“We don’t do our job for the accolades, but I’m glad our current and future clients can see them as an assurance of our commitment to helping them find the perfect home or make the most beneficial sale,” he said.
To commemorate the occasion, Ms. McCartney and Mr. Lawson proudly unveiled an innovative initiative aimed at fostering local talent and contributing to the growth of the Caymanian community.
“As a Caymanian owned and operated Real Estate Brokerage, we believe empowering our youth through education is key in building a prosperous and vibrant community. We are excited to share we are dedicated to sponsoring a Caymanian student to enroll in the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) Real Estate Courses Level 1 & Level 2 each year moving forward”.
This initiative reflects their dedication to nurturing the next generation of real estate professionals in the Cayman Islands, ensuring they have the knowledge and expertise to thrive in the dynamic real estate landscape.
