Caribbean Misadventure Novel Returns Readers To A Comic Paradise

That’s the starting point for award-winning author Tim W. Jackson’s newest ‘Blacktip Island’ humor novel, On Wahoo Reef. The novel draws on Jackson’s 20+ years working as a boat captain and scuba instructor on Little Cayman.
Jackson previously worked as a journalist in Florida for a decade, then earned a Master’s in Literature from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas before moving to the Cayman Islands.
Jackson’s previous novels, Blacktip Island and The Secret of Rosalita Flats, were USA Book News Book of the Year award finalists. The Secret of Rosalita Flats was short-listed for The Wishing Shelf book award. His Blacktip Island-based short stories have appeared in literary journals worldwide.
