A Tropical Storm Warning remain in effect for the Cayman Islands as Tropical storm conditions are expected within the next 36 hours
A general westward to west-northwestward motion is expected for the next several days.
On the forecast track, the center of Grace will move near the northern coast of Jamaica this afternoon. Grace is forecast to move near the Cayman Islands tonight, over Grand Cayman 3 am on Wednesday, and then approach the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico late Wednesday or early Thursday.
A Flood and Marine Warning is also in effect.
Residents are urged to continue monitoring the development of Tropical Depression Grace.

Tropical storm conditions are expected within the next 36 hours
Today we can expect partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers during the day, becoming overcast with frequent thunderstorms by this afternoon over the Sister Islands and over Grand Cayman by this evening.
Showers will be heavy at times leading to flooding of low-lying areas.
The winds will be East to northeast 15 to 20 knots at daytime becoming 30 to 35 knots with higher gusts by late night.
Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet at daytime, becoming rough with wave heights of 8 to 10 feet by night.
Residents are urged to continue monitoring the development of Tropical Depression Grace.
