CAYMAN CONTINUES TO KEEP COVID IN CHECK
Another 256 COVID-19 test results were released on Tuesday and all were negative.
This brings the number of tests carried out to date to 30,657.
There are currently no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Cayman continuing a trend for the past three weeks - 22 days to be exact.
Residents are being encouraged to register for the free screening via the government’s COVID-19 portal or by contacting the Health Services Authority.
The public is urged to continue being vigilant by wearing masks, washing hands regularly and practising safe distancing.
Cayman has been at Suppression Level 2 since June 21st with commercial and social restrictions being gradually loosened, the most recent being from this week.
This month is critical as the territory moves towards a target date of the end of August for the phased reopening of the borders earmarked to start in September.
An update from the government is awaited.
