The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) is pleased to announce the 2024 training sessions in partnership with Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence. Training was previously offered in 2021 and 2022 to prepare the tourism industry for the reopening of the country’s borders and the impact of COVID-19 on the guest experience.
This year’s training provides an opportunity to learn best practices for enhancing guest experiences and improving sustainability. The training is available free of charge to participants and is offered online or in-person depending on the course.
Training is tailored to specific sectors of the tourism industry and facilitated by experienced trainers from Aquila. The company has over 35 years of experience in the cruise industry and creates customised sessions based on the needs of a destination.
In 2024, CIDOT has partnered with Aquila to provide their “Product Development: Tours & Guest Experiences,” and “Excellence in Sustainable Destination Experiences” training.
