Cayman Islands Tourism makes strong showing at International Meetings and Incentives Conference

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) and select Cayman Islands hotel and services partners exhibited at IMEX America 2022 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, October 10-13. IMEX America is the largest trade show in North America for the meetings and events industry. This year’s show had over 12,000 industry professionals in attendance, of whom over 4,000 were meeting planners - Cayman’s key target at the show. The Cayman group’s primary goal was to promote the Cayman Islands as a key luxury incentive and meeting destination to third parties, corporate planners, and independent planners who in turn book their meetings and incentive programs at hotels on island. 

Additionally, the Cayman Islands had a sponsorship presence at the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence’s (SITE) SITE Nite North America, the unofficial kick-off of IMEX America. The event hosted more than 2,000 industry leaders at Allegiant Stadium, the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Adorned with custom Cayman football jerseys, the Cayman delegation stood out from all, showcasing a unified, destination-first effort.
