West Bay-based reggae artist Jeán-eric Smith aka Mr. Notch proudly announces the release of his latest album project, REGGAEMAN, scheduled for release on Monday, April 7th.
Produced by Paul Kastick, Jah Mitch, and Mr. Notch himself, this seven-track collaboration blends timeless reggae rhythms with fresh innovation.
Highlighted by three previously released hit singles, new and previously unreleased tracks, and a bonus track of, Got to Have Love, this album pays tribute to the late Mitchell ‘JAH MITCH’ Olsen Ebanks, Mr. Notch’s musical partner and friend of 35 years.

REGGAEMAN is a celebration of unity, perseverance, and love, plaited together with Mr. Notch’s signature sound and a deep respect for reggae’s roots. The inclusion of a bonus track of Got to Have Love honors Jah Mitch’s legacy and contributions to the genre. The songwriting talents of Christopher Randolph McDermott—renowned for penning hits by The Juveniles and Tabia — further enrich this heartfelt collection with its soul stirring tribute.
The album’s seven tracks reflect Mr. Notch’s unique artistry and mastery of the genre, including previously released fan-favorites Reggae Man and Black My Story. “Easy”, his original rendition of Bob Marley’s Easy Skankin’, which features the dynamic DJ voice of Natural Black from Guyana will keep you Caribbean cool throughout the hot summer. Complementing them are previously unreleased versions of classic Cayman reggae songs such as “Jungle” which displays his maturity and growth as an artist, who respects and enhances the creation of timeless works of art.
