GBH Promo)ons, in associa)on with Fightzone and Fight Academy, are delighted to announce that the Cayman Islands will be hos)ng another evening of unforgeAable world-class boxing. On November 2nd, 2024, the Lions Community Centre will host CLASH IN CAYMAN II, which promises to be an evening filled with the electrifying excitement of amateur and professional boxing.
With the WBF Super Featherweight Title up for grabs, Mandeep Jangra will take on Conor McIntosh in a clash that promises edge-of-your seat ac)on from start to finish! Also appearing on this card will be returning crowd favourite Ka)e Healy who will be defending her Commonwealth Silver Super Bantamweight Title against challenger Ashleigh Johnson. Expect fireworks as these fierce warriors baAle for glory.
Also appearing on the exci)ng pro-am bill will be top amateur fighters from Grand Cayman, along with other fighters from around the globe!
The event will also welcome back boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. who will be in the corner of Mandeep Jangra for the WBF Super Featherweight Title. With a scheduled 4 amateur and 6 professional fights, this pro-am event promises to showcase some incredible boxing talent.
Fightzone, established in the UK in 2020 by prominent Sheffield businessman Steve Crump and globally-known fight figure, Dennis Hobson, is recognised as one of the world’s leading boxing pla\orms. Hobson has been involved in the fight game for over 30 years and is recognised interna)onally as one of the sport’s most prominent and influen)al figures. He has operated at the very top of the industry and has been central to the careers of many high-profile world champions including boxing legend Ricky HaAon, former heavyweight ruler David Haye, and light-heavyweight king, Clinton Woods.
Despite being involved in mega-fights around the world, including promo)ng Ricky HaAon in Las Vegas to a global audience, Dennis says he is thrilled to be returning to Grand Cayman for Clash in Cayman II.
“Grand Cayman is an amazing place,” stated Hobson. “I’ve visited on many occasions over the years and just love the island and the people; I can’t wait for November 2nd as we deliver yet another incredible boxing show for the Cayman community.”
