Public Health has released Covid-19 figures for 27-29 January and it seems as if positive cases being reported are slowing in numbers. As of 27 January, there were 198 positives reported, on 28 January 182 positives and on 29 January there were 200 positives. These figures are therefore down considerably on cases recently reported during the period 16 - 22 January, when there was an average of 391 cases per day, and then from 23 - 25 January, when there was an average of 396 cases per day.
Active cases currently stand at 5,708. Currently, 18 are in hospital with Covid, two of whom have been newly admitted. The Sister Islands also noted 22 new cases since their report last Friday, with a total of 67 active cases there.
