The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) announces the resumption of garbage collection services and the reopening of all landfills on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, following the passage of Hurricane Rafael.
Residents are asked to exercise patience and understanding as the DEH teams resume work and continue to remain committed to providing their regular services.
Members of the public are also encouraged to use the 24-hour drop-off site at the entrance of the landfill to facilitate the disposal of small amounts of waste from residential customers, if necessary.
