Black Unicorn has announced that Don Seymour has received the President’s Impact Award for his achievements as a founder and investor. This was the first award in the history of the University of Texas.
The award, presented by Jay Hartzell, the President of The University of Texas at Austin, recognizes a Longhorn business that has made an incredible impact on an industry, community, or society at large. The recipient embodies the bold, creative, and ‘change-the-world’ spirit that inspires Longhorns around the world. The ceremony was held on Friday, May 3 at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, Texas.
Bobby Paul, COO of Black Unicorn commented, “We are thrilled to see Don recognized for his landmark accomplishments and dedication to driving change. Under his remarkable leadership and sound guidance Black Unicorn is consistently setting new standards for excellence and driving profound impact on our industry.”
Don expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “receiving the President’s Impact Award is a tremendous honour that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I’m deeply humbled and further motivated to continue innovation, foster collaboration, and making a positive and lasting impact within our community.”
