The Elections Office renews its efforts to complete the verification process as it makes a final push to verify the remaining 145 signatures.
Door-to-door verifiers are making a strong push to contact individuals who weren’t reached during earlier stages of verification by revisiting homes.
Individuals who signed the petition and have not yet verified their signature are encouraged to consider the below options still available to them for doing so.

Verification in person continues at the Elections Office headquarters during their extended opening hours.
• The Elections Office is located on the second floor of Smith Road Centre in George Town
• Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Friday from 8:30am to 5 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Commenting on the final stages of the verification process, Mr. Howell said, “the remaining few individuals are certainly the most difficult to reach. This is why we are increasing our efforts to contact those who have not yet verified their signature. I strongly encourage petitioners who have not verified their signatures to contact our offices. With the support of the remaining petitioners we anticipate being to wrap up verification in the coming days.”
