A big food festival, with live music and entertainment too filled Cardinal Avenue with life. The festival was organized by the team at LIVE. There was an artisan market that offered some nice shopping opportunities, a kids’ playhouse for children to enjoy, photo opportunities and a nice VIP lounge on the waterfront next to the stage filled with live performances by a total of seven buskers, with hosts Danielle Watler and Dane Cameron. Regular tickets cost 55 KYD, and included 10 food and beverage tickets amongst other attractions, while kids’ tickets cost 15 and including face painting, entry to games, and entry to Sparky’s Playhouse.

“We simply wanted to create an experience that reflected our rich cosmopolitan community while emphasizing our local culture in a meaningful way,” said LIVE team member Carlo Lee, “This commitment is echoed in our promise to provide food from around the world and around the way. Our commitment to accessibility, sustainability and diversity are features we imbue wholeheartedly, to inspire positive change within the event industry and beyond.

“We are honoured the Cayman community trusted us to deliver on our promise. We promote space for everyone in our community to get together and we are happy to have the support of the George Town Revitalisation Initiative and other great partners and sponsors to deliver this offering to the heart of George Town. We wanted to revitalise our sense of community after a year of being a good community, by being apart from each other”

Food vendors included Kazoku Japanese Bistro, Mojo Gastro Pub, Foster’s, Jae’s Food Vault, Burger Shack, Cayman Creperie, D’corn Shack Gelato & Co, and National Youth Culinary Program. Buskers included Jimmeh, Denys Carbo Cedeño, James Geary, Danny Loops, Andrea Rivera, Yohann Fitzgerald and DJ Flex.
