Food vendors wanted for National Heroes Day
Local food vendors who do not currently occupy a commercial space (i.e. cottage industry or small man business) are invited to submit proposal of vendor services for National Heroes Day Celebration 2023. Successful vendors will be expected to provide indigenous Caymanian-style food samples for the National Heroes Day Celebrations taking place on Monday 23 January 2023.
Interested bidders must meet the following eligibility criteria.
Bidders must use the Menu Form document as specific guidelines.
Bidders must submit a copy of a valid business license to demonstrate they are a small-man business (Cottage Industry).
Bidders must submit a copy of a current Food Hygiene & Safety handling certification from Department of Environmental Health.
Each proposal will be evaluated using the following criteria & weighting:
Documents are available by emailing nationalevents@gov.ky or by collection from the Cayman Islands Government Administration Building reception desk (133 Elgin Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman)
Proposal must be received between Friday 6 January 2023 through Friday 13 January 2023 by 5:00PM EST (GMT-5). Late bids will not be accepted, CIG will not defray any cost incurred by bidders.
