Giannis sparkles for Bucks again

Sports 02 Nov, 2022 Follow News

Giannis Antetokounmpo is in impressive form

Early-season NBA MVP metrics have a clear front runner – and it’s no surprise.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is in relentless form again for the Milwaukee Bucks. In his first five games, he’s averaging 34.4 points, 14.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.6 blocks while downing 65.2 percent of his twos and 35.3 percent of his threes.
Another contender is Cleveland Cavaliers ace Donovan Mitchell. Though the Cavs have cobbled together a more effective bench rotation than expected, Mitchell is in supreme form. He is averaging 32.2 points and 7.3 assists while knocking down 52.6 percent of his twos and a sanity-shattering 45.5 percent of his threes. Whether Mitchell can maintain this pace is questionable.
Luka Doncic is also in the MVP frame for the Dallas Mavericks. His 36.7 points per game lead the Association. He pairs that distinction with 8.7 assists per game and a jaw-jutting 65 percent conversion rate inside the arc.
