The 2021 Girls Softball season finished with a fun ‘Easter Series’ taking place over the past week.
On April 7th the SOL Panthers defeated the SOL Pumas 11-8 and on April 10th the SOL Pumas beat the SOL Jaguars 19-9. The games concluded on April 12th, with the SOL Panthers taking on the SOL Jaguars.
Congratulations to the SOL Pumas, who were regular season champions, and to the SOL Jaguars, who were the Tournament champions.
Thank you to everyone who supported Girls Softball this year, especially SOL Petroleum, the sponsor of the entire Girls Softball Division. Thank you to all of our coaches, scorekeepers, umpires and spectators. More than 40 girls took part this season and they all had a great time while learning lots of new skills.
Girls Softball players will be at Foster’s Camana Bay this Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm selling tickets for Little League’s fundraising raffle, so the public are encouraged to stop by and support! The grand prize is CI $10,000, and the prize draw takes place on April 30th. Tickets cost $25 and purchasers do not need to be present to win.
