Thursday, May 4th

Digicel 12, Coldwell Banker 11

On Thursday night, second place Digicel scored twice in the bottom of the 4th for an exciting walk-off victory over Coldwell Banker. Rio Windsor hit a game tying homer leading off the 4th and Tracey Campbell drove home Coco Windsor with the winning run soon after. Tracey also pitched a complete game for the win. Rio scored three runs and Coco and Tracey scored two apiece for Digicel. Daniela Del Risco and Eowyn Hawkins scored three runs each for Coldwell Banker, while Maya Willis and Janey Veilleux each scored twice.

Saturday, May 6th

Kirk Freeport 17, Logic 5

On Saturday evening, Kirk Freeport had a ten-run 4th inning to break open a close game and earn a convincing win against Logic. The big hit of the night was a grand slam homer by Kirk Freeport’s Daniella Heard, who also scored two runs on the night. Teammates Jazmyn Ramsay and Demae Lee scored three runs each, and Nelly Hayles, Renell Parchment and Kenia Rostran tallied two runs apiece. Jeliyah McLean, Hanna Jackson, McKenna Knapik and Avah Connors each scored in a four-run 4th inning for Logic.

Thursday, May 11th

Coldwell Banker 13, Logic 11

On Thursday night, Coldwell Banker scored six runs in each of the first two innings, and held off a furious rally by Logic to escape with a two-run victory. Maya Willis, Janey Veilleux, Daniela Del Risco, Eowyn Hawkins and Jialy Archbold-McLaughlin each scored twice for Coldwell Banker, in a well-balanced attack. The big hit of the night was Jialy’s grand slam homer to centre field. McKenna Knapik scored three runs for Logic, while Hristina Nachev and Withney Jackson each crossed the plate twice. Logic scored four runs in the 3rd to make it a one-run game, but the time ran out with Coldwell Banker batting in the bottom of the inning.

Saturday, May 13th

Kirk Freeport 11, Digicel 8

On Saturday evening, third place Kirk Freeport finished the regular season with an impressive win over Digicel, who were still in a battle for first place. Kenia Rostran hit an inside-the-park homer for Kirk Freeport and she scored two runs on the night. Renell Parchment had three runs and Madison Malice scored twice. Leianni Dixon was on base twice and scored a run for Digicel, but overall they were unable to get the big hits or the big inning on this night.

Coldwell Banker finished first for the regular season, and they will take on Logic in the playoffs beginning on May 25th. Digicel will play Kirk Freeport in the first round. The All-Star skills and game will take place this week, May 17th-20th.

The public are reminded that Little League’s fundraising raffle is back, with a grand prize this year of a whopping CI$100,000!
