HEALTHIER COFFEE - ANYONE?

I am not a regular coffee drinker. I do have a cup frequently at times. The smell of brewing coffee is just magical. Many of us tend to have it first thing in the morning as our energy wake up. Coffee has its place in our daily regimen. I have considered some wonderful additions that you can make to your coffee to enhance its taste and benefits. If consumed properly it can add to your weight loss, so avoid artificial creations.

AVOID ARTIFICIAL CREAMERS - These are almost as bad as artificial sweeteners. Why? A large assortment is made with corn syrup solids and hydrogenated fats. Improve your coffee with real cream, organic grass fed. This gives the added benefit of conjugated linoleic acid a fat burner in its own right.

USE FILTERED WATER AND ORGANIC BEANS - Coffee is 99% water. So, water quality is crucial. Coffee is the heaviest sprayed crop in the world. Filtered water and organic beans will aid your coffee texture.

CINNAMON - The extract is preferred. It’s packed with anti-oxidants. It lowers blood glucose after a meal. This is great for diabetics.

EAT BEFORE DRINKING YOUR COFFEE - Hmm! Interesting you may quip. Your body releases insulin in response to caffeine. In turn, this causes a major drop in blood sugar, leaving you depleted and tired. Your body would thank you for this practice. Much on a small snack with your coffee, or even eat right before consumption.

ADD COLLAGEN - This has been my greatest addition. It is rich in amino acid glycine. It also helps with inflammation and tissue repair.

GRASS-FED BUTTER - Another of my favourite. Added to black coffee you get a nice brain-boosting buzz. Blend it with a handheld blender. Hmm! Delicioso!!.

ADD COCONUT OIL - Another of my favourite. This is loaded with healthy fatty acids specifically MCT’s. Studies have shown that this oil boosts brain health.

Try any of these as you wish and even mix and match. Take your coffee to another healthy level.
