I am currently a Sophomore at the Wilfrid Laurier University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Sports have always been a part of my life from the age of nine where I found love for all sports ranging from Swimming, Football, Netball, and Basketball. I have not been able to compete in any leagues due to the unfortunate event of the pandemic. However, I am looking forward to compete in the Women’s League starting on March 21st, 2021! Even though it was very challenging not being able to play and socialize with others, we were all doing ourselves a favor by taking the precautionary measures to keep each other safe. Therefore, when I am faced with challenges I know that God isn’t giving me anything that I can’t handle.
