The Health Services Authority (HSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sharon Buckley-Omier as Director of Corporate Services effective 1 August 2024. Her responsibilities include oversight of quality and risk management, disaster planning and management, infection prevention and surveillance, occupational health and safety, accreditation, health information management, data protection and complaints within the Authority.
Ms. Buckley-Omier has been the Support Services Manager at HSA since 2019. Prior to this, she held the positions of Acting Manager for the Specialist Clinic, Nursing Supervisor, and Registered Nurse in various units since joining HSA in 1997.

Ms. Buckley-Omier has a long-standing history with the HSA having pursued her Practical Nurse training at the George Town Hospital School of Nursing. Subsequently, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica and her Master of Science in Nursing Management and Organizational Leadership at American Sentinel University. Ms Buckley-Omier was also among a group of HSA managers who completed the ILM-Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management at CI Civil Service College earlier this year.
