The Cayman Islands National Weather Service is monitoring Hurricane Beryl, which at 10 a.m. was located 355 miles east-southeast of Barbados. At present, this system poses no immediate threat to the Cayman Islands; however, note that the forecast cone covers the Cayman Islands. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and stay updated with the latest weather developments.
Light to moderate easterly winds and seas are expected across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours in association with a ridge of high pressure over the northern Caribbean. Radar images show isolated showers within the Cayman Islands area which are moving towards the west-northwest.

Today: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and possible thunder. Temperatures will rise to the upper 80’s °F with a heat index near 109 °F. Winds will be easterly at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers. Temperatures will fall to the upper 70’s °F. Winds will be east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be slight to moderate with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.
Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and possible thunder. Temperatures will rise to the upper 80’s °F with a heat index near 109 °F. Winds will be easterly at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be moderate with wave heights of 3 to 5 feet.
