IRG - International Realty Group recently delivered a cache of supplies and materials to teachers and staff at Edna M. Moyle Primary School as a part of its annual school donation. The huge delivery included an assortment of creative and academic supplies, ranging from paints and modelling clay to scientific calculators.
This is the third donation to the school, following the opening of IRG’s North Side office in 2018, and forms part of a long-term commitment to assist the school and PTA as they prepare for each new school year.
IRG works with members of the Edna M. Moyle Primary School Parent Teacher Association to ensure that each year group has access to the additional tools and materials they need to provide the most engaging learning experience.
IRG Sales Associate and North Side resident, Shelly Miller, was on-hand to oversee delivery of the supplies and meet with teachers and PTA members.
Commenting on the initiative IRG Broker/Owner, Jeremy Hurst, stated:
“We opened the North Side office in 2018 with the aim of providing expert real estate services at the heart of the local community, as well as providing services to the Eastern Districts as a whole. Over the course of the last 25 years we have proudly assisted buyers and vendors here and a key component of our business success involves giving something back to the local community. Our long-term relationship with Edna M. Moyle Primary School is the perfect way for us to do just that; particularly this year with local communities having been put under significant pressure by the effects of the global pandemic.”
Talking about the importance of their connection with the local community, Mr Hurst highlighted that,
“IRG is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global real estate network comprised of independent brokerage members that embrace the mantra- “We’re Local. We’re Global”. This approach epitomizes the ethos of IRG. We work closely with the local community to market our properties and showcase Cayman’s unique lifestyle opportunities to international investors on the global stage.”
Commenting on the partnership, Edna M. Moyle Primary School’s Principal, Ms. Danielle Duran, stated:
“On behalf of Edna Moyle Primary School, I would like to personally express my gratitude once again to IRG Cayman for their generosity this academic year. We are so privileged to have them as a community partner who we can depend on to give back where it is needed. Their donation of school supplies ensures that all students have equal access to what they need daily and takes a load off of many parents who may be facing financial hardship. We are blessed to have them on our team and look forward to a continued partnership for many years to come.”
Speaking on behalf of the school’s Parent Teacher Association, President Ms Carol Saunds, commented:
“Being able to count on IRG for their continued support means a lot to the school community, especially in this unprecedented year with the effects of the pandemic overwhelming many families. Many parents were significantly affected by the interruption of their jobs; therefore, to have IRG as our benefactor has been a blessing. We are truly appreciative for the contribution that Jeremy, Shelly and the IRG Team continue to offer.”
