Just after 2:20PM on Monday, 5 August, two officers on patrol in the Bodden Town District had cause to stop and speak with a man walking in the area of Caskwell Drive in Bodden Town. The man was behaving suspiciously when speaking with the officers and so the officer requested a search of his person.
During the search, the officers found a small bottle containing small rocks resembling crack cocaine along with a portion of cash. The 50-year-old-man of George Town was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drug with intent to supply and a host of other drug related offenses. The cash found on the man was also seized by the officers as proceeds of crime.
The man is currently in Police custody as the investigation continues.
