Shortly after 4PM this evening 16 July, officers conducted a proactive operation in the vicinity of Lower Valley, Bodden Town. A 36 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the Seymour Drive shooting incident that took place at Vic’s Bar, on 9 July
He has been taken into custody as investigations continue.
Just after 1:45AM on 9 July, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a shooting incident that took place at Vic's Bar on Seymour Drive, George Town. It was reported that multiple persons at the location received gunshot wounds, five persons were transported to the hospital for treatment, one of whom is believed to be in critical condition, and the others are believed to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A sixth person was fatally shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
