A man, age 23 of George Town, has been formally charged with eight offenses in relation to several incidents occurring between 24 October and 4 November, including an incident where a premises in West Bay was unlawfully entered and the owner of the property subsequently threatened. The man was also reported to have brandished a machete, assaulted another man, and made threats regarding a separate matter that he was on bail for at the time.
The man has been charged with Criminal Trespass, three counts of Causing Fear or Provocation of Violence, Assault ABH, Possession of a Restricted Weapon, Driving Without Insurance and Driving While Disqualified.
He appeared in court on Tuesday, 10 November, and was remanded in custody.
