Hon. Kenneth Bryan and senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Ports (MOTP) will attend the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference and Tradeshow in St. Maarten from October 21st to 25th, 2024.
The FCCA Conference is intended to foster a better understanding of the inner workings of the cruise industry, offering educational and networking opportunities to help attendees better improve their respective cruise tourism business.
During the conference, Minister Bryan will prominently represent the Cayman Islands, providing a destination update on the country’s tourism industry and participating in the “Total Guest Experience” panel. There will also be a number of opportunities to promote the varied tourism offerings in the Cayman Islands and strategize on how to better support the tourism industry, with a particular focus on cruise.
Minister Bryan and the Ministry team will also be joined by representatives from the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI) and the Association for the Advancement of Cruise Tourism in the Cayman Islands (ACT), to learn about the cruise offerings of other regional jurisdictions and the future of the cruise industry.
