The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Heritage announced that the National Youth and Sports survey has been launched and is available to the public for input and participation at www.gov.ky/ysp , until Monday, 8 April.
Responses from the survey will be used to guide the creation of policies and initiatives to meet the community’s needs, challenges, and aspirations in the National Youth and National Sports Policies.
In commenting on the opportunity for the public to participate, Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Rankine shared, “I am excited that the National Youth and Sports survey is now live and I am encouraging the public to complete the survey. It is important that we have persons from all ages and backgrounds participate so that we can draft policies that are relevant and comprehensive.”
Teresa Echenique, Chief Officer in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Heritage expressed, “We believe in the power of inclusion and collective input to drive meaningful change. We also realise that for the community to take ownership of these policies they have to feel that their views on these subject areas are being considered and incorporated into the policies and that is why it important for everyone to take the opportunity to complete the survey.”
