Cayman is pleased to announce that it will commence work on Monday, 7 August 2023, to facilitate pipeline improvement works for customers on a section of Fern Circle. These works are essential to improving water service to customers in the area.
This project is expected to take 2 weeks to complete. The Authority will keep affected customers and the general public updated on the status of the works.
Pipeline works will take place from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday. Traffic will be diverted through the subdivision of Fern Circle for customers travelling south from Bobby Thompson Way and north from Fairbanks Road.
During this time, local access only to residences in the area will be available and flagmen will be on hand to direct local access traffic. Traffic signs will be posted in the general vicinity, and all motorists are asked to drive with caution to ensure their own safety as well as that of the Water Authority staff.
Additionally, on Wednesday, 9 August, there will be a planned interruption of water service from 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Fern Circle and a section of Fairbanks Road, up to Triple C School.
Should these works necessitate any further water service interruptions, the Authority will provide customers with as much notice as possible.
The Water Authority apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause, and thank you for your patience and understanding.
