Police Investigate Hit and Run Collision Involving a Pedestrian
Police are investigating a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian, that took place at approximately 5:15PM on Thursday, 3 February at the Grand Harbour Roundabout in George Town.
A male pedestrian that was crossing the road was struck by a vehicle, who then failed to stop at the location. The injured man was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was treated and later released, with what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, and may be able to provide information that would assist in identifying the vehicle and it's driver, to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
