Following the water-related death at Spotts Beach yesterday, 28 August, the RCIPS has been conducting inquiries to establish the identity of the deceased man. However, those inquiries have so far been unsuccessful.
As such, the RCIPS is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the man. He is described as being of slim build, weighing about 200-210lbs, and about 6'1" in height. He is of brown complexion, with brown low cut hair, and was wearing a pair of blue jeans with a black belt, and a green t-shirt with the word "Heineken" at the time of the incident. The male also has an injury on his left thumb, which appears to be recent and required stitches.
If the description of the deceased fits the identity of anyone they know, or if they have any other information regarding the incident, persons are asked to contact the RCIPS at 949-4222, ex. 2908.
