RBC Launches Private Banking Office at Camana Bay

Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) launched their new private banking office at Camana Bay

The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) opened its new private banking office space at the Camana Bay retail and entertainment district in Grand Cayman on 20th September.

A special ribbon cutting and launch ceremony was held to introduce the new office space, as well as to introduce staff members to residents and customers.

RBC Area Vice President, Personal Banking, and Country Head, Cayman Islands Ericka Rolle noted that the new office was an indication of the banks, “…commitment to growth and increased visibility,”  and an opportunity for new customers and investment.

Ms Rolle noted that RBC’s private banking was embarking on a new chapter and that the new office was tangible evidence in the company’s unwavering faith in its clients and team.

She added that contributing to the Islands’ community was RBC’s primary focus.

“Our philosophy revolves around personal relationships,” said remarked. 

The new office will house a staff of team employees and focus on building the best private bank in the Cayman Islands, according to RBC representatives, who said their commitment is to providing wholistic advise.

“Our philosophy revolves around personal relationships,” said Ms. Rolle. 

RBC Head of Caribbean Banking Chris Ronald told the audience that driving investment in Cayman and in the region was an important focal point for the bank.

“Cayman is a market that we want to grow.

“RBC has been operating in the Cayman Islands since 1964, with the bank for serving the community here for nearly 60 years and we have been present in the Caribbean for over a century,” he said.

The new private banking facility at Camana Bay also houses US dollar and KY dollar ATM services.

During the launch ceremony a check was also presented to the National Trust for the Cayman Islands’ (NTCI) Environmental Programme to assist with the protection of Cayman’s wetlands and environmental conservation and preservation efforts.

The check was received by the NPO’s Historic Programmes Manager, Mr. Stuart Wilson. 

Attendees also had an opportunity to tour the suite of new offices where RBC will serve its clients at Camana Bay.

This is a good "forward" move, for you to remain relevant in the Cayman Islands and also move ahead of your competitors. Customers and workers alike embrace growth in a company that they have a vested interest in, whether from an employee or customer perspective.
