Shortly before 2:30AM, Sunday 3 July, police received a report of a male intruder who entered a unit at a condominium complex, North of Earth Close, on West Bay Road, and touched a child inappropriately while she was asleep in a bedroom with her parent, startling her awake.
It was reported that when the child woke, the man fled from the room, out the back door of the unit. The man is described as having dark skin, a black bandana and a small beard.
It was also reported that shortly before this incident, a person fitting the description entered another unit within the same complex and left the unit after being seen by one of the occupants. No physical contact was reported in this case.
No injuries were reported as a result of either incident.
The RCIPS are investigating the incident and ask that if anyone saw anyone suspicious in the area between 1am & 3am, to please report it to the police. Information can be provided by calling, the George Town Police Station on 949-4222.
