Shortly before 9:50PM yesterday, 7 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a liquor store on Bodden Town Road, west of Cliff Hill Lane. It was reported that two masked men had entered the store and one of the men brandished a machete at a worker there and demanded cash from the register. The men then fled on foot with a quantity of cash and other items.
No one was injured during the incident.
The culprits are both described as being tall and of slim build, and were wearing dark jackets, pants, and face masks.
The matter is currently under investigation by Bodden Town CID, and anyone with any information, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact 947-2220.
