Semifinals set in the 2023 Inter-Primary Cricket Competitions

East End Primary (yellow) will be playing in the girls and boys semifinals.

With the final week of the regular season completed this past Friday, June 16, the semifinals in the 2023 Inter-Primary Cricket Competition are now finalised and will take place on Wednesday, June 21 with the finals and third-place games set for Thursday, June 22.

In the girl’s cricket competition, Zone A winners East End Primary take on Zone B runners-up St. Ignatius Catholic at Joanna Clarke Primary’s field and Zone B winners Cayman Prep A face Zone A runners-up Sir John A. Cumber Primary A at Red Bay Primary’s field at noon.

In the boy’s cricket competition, Zone A winners East End Primary play Zone B runners-up St. Ignatius Catholic at Joanna Clarke Primary’s field and Zone B winners Cayman Prep A meet Zone A runners-up Joanna Clarke Primary at Red Bay Primary’s field at 1:00 p.m.

The winners of Wednesday’s semifinals will play in the finals on Thursday, June 22 at the Annex Field at 12:15 pm (girls) and at 1:15 pm (boys) with the third-place games be playing simultaneously with the finals.

The Inter-Primary Boys Cricket Rally, which was postponed due to the weather in May, is scheduled for Monday, June 26 at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

The Inter-Primary Cricket Competition is organised and coordinated by the Department of Education Services and the Department of Sports and sponsored by CUC and the Cayman Cricket Association.

Parents and supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer on our young cricketers during these final games.
