Be a part of the Cayman Islands’ Airports future development!

The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA), which operates the Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) on Grand Cayman and the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CKIA) on Cayman Brac, invites the public to Community Outreach sessions 21 – 23 November 2022 on building a brighter future for Caymans’ Airports!

The CIAA is in the process of finalising the long-term, sustainable development of Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman, Charles Kirkconnell International Airport on Cayman Brac and Edward Bodden Airfield on Little Cayman and will be hosting the next series of Community Outreach sessions on each of the three Islands.

At these sessions, the CIAA will share the findings of the Community Outreach Survey, which was conducted in July 2022, and its innovative approaches to the future airport development for Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

“Our Vision is to deliver an excellent airport experience, and we achieved extraordinary milestones in a relatively short space of time under the 2012 master plan, but there is still much more work to be done,” said CIAA CEO Albert Anderson. “We have all experienced the pandemic era, and airports around the world have had major impacts to their operations which continue today. The Cayman Islands is no exception. This new master plan will provide us with a fresh new approach and outlook to what is required today to take our airports to even greater heights! “

Please join the CIAA at one of the following sessions between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.:

- Monday, 21 November at the Little Cayman Beach Resort, Little Cayman

- Tuesday, 22 November at the Aston Rutty Centre, Cayman Brac

- Wednesday, 23 November at the John Gray High School Hall (old George Hicks site), Grand Cayman

All are welcome to attend! Refreshments will be provided.

Presentation coverage of the Community Outreach Sessions will be recorded and posted to the CIAA’s official Facebook page, following each session.
