To our loving community, We hope that you all are as excited as we are with this new year!!

Most of you know that Thomas and I acquired our space in Camana Bay 6 days before lockdown due to COVID almost 3 years ago… yeah… 3 Whole Years!!

In that time, we’ve had the pleasure to support several charities on island, start our Food for Fallen Fruit program to help local struggling families enjoy a meal in Camana Bay by trading fallen fruit from their trees for food vouchers, work with Plastic Free Cayman to educate and motivate the youth, continue efforts to provide an avenue for international awareness of reducing the invasive lionfish plaguing our shores through education and Chef Thomas’ delicious implementation on our menus, supporting local distributors with buying non-plastic ecofriendly and biodegradable disposables to bring their costs down for all and minimize our impact on the landfill, and keeping our ingredients local through purchasing directly from farmers for all of our products.

We survived these years through our efforts to diversify our Food & Beverage products where you all have supported and enjoyed our “Fiyah” line of hot sauces, private and corporate catering, hotel installation at Rum Point Club Residences, and other “out of the box” initiatives.

The conclusion of 2022 and start of 2023 found us thriving and able to catch up from those past crazy years. Thriving so much so that we are excited to “soon come” announce news of some new locations, products, and production facilities as this year unfolds.

As sometimes is the case in life we are also having to announce some unfortunate news, the closure of our Tomfoodery Kitchen & Bar location and our time in Camana Bay will be ending the first weekend this March 2023. Though we have not yet settled on a home for our famously enjoyed “Chick-Wich”, “Jerk Brisket Burger”, “Cayman Style Beef” and other cheeky options, this production is near and dear to us, and we are steadfast in finding the perfect location to invite you all back. This closure will not affect our other products nor hamper our previously mentioned growth and “soon come” future announcements.

We are excited to see you all while we grow and look forward to chats and many meals to come. Always with much love and Caymankind.

Love,

Jonathan & Chef Thomas
