The Cayman Islands Regional Mission Council of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands will host a Service of Prayer on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Elmslie Memorial Church. This special gathering will host Candidates and is open to all. It will serve as a time of reflection, encouragement, and intercession ahead of the upcoming 2025 General Elections.

The United Church recognizes that public service is both a profound calling and a significant sacrifice. As part of its commitment to supporting national leadership through prayer, the Church invites all candidates, public officials, and members of the community to come together in seeking God’s wisdom and guidance for the future of the Cayman Islands.

Her Excellency, the Governor of the Cayman Islands, has been invited to attend this service, along with other dignitaries and community leaders.

“We remain steadfast in our prayers for those who offer themselves for public service and those entrusted with the responsibilities of governance,” said Rev Rohan Forrester, Chair of the Cayman Islands Regional Mission Council. “This service is an opportunity to come together as a people, united in faith and purpose, as we prepare for this pivotal moment in our nation’s journey.”

All members of the public are welcome to attend.
